Answers to the most common questions about spot spraying and retrofitting your sprayer.
Yes. WeedEye Precision Systems are designed to retrofit onto existing trailed, mounted and self-propelled sprayers. Our Engineers confirm compatibility based on your machine's boom width, plumbing and terminal.
The Easy Kit adds FALCON vision to your sprayer and works with its existing compatible ISOBUS valve system; RAVEN is one example, not a requirement. The Full Upgrade Kit adds WeedEye RAPID valves for the fastest, most precise actuation and has been field-proven on a Berthoud Major trailed sprayer with a 24 m boom.
Up to 90%, depending on weed pressure, crop and field conditions. Savings are an estimate, not a guarantee — use the ROI calculator to model your own farm.
Up to 20 km/h with 5 ms valve actuation, so you can keep your normal spraying speed.
Green-on-brown targets weeds on bare soil (e.g. before sowing). Green-on-green detects weeds within a growing crop and sprays only them, using real-time AI vision.
No. The cameras detect weeds in real time on the move, so no prior drone flights or mapping are required.
WeedEye systems are built to integrate with ISOBUS terminals. Tell us your terminal model and we will confirm the setup.
Indicative net prices: Easy Kit 1 400 €/m boom, Full Upgrade Kit 1 900 €/m, UHP9.0 114 000 €. These are not an offer; final pricing depends on your configuration.
Typically 1–2 seasons, depending on the area sprayed, herbicide costs and weed pressure. Actual results depend on use.

For large arable fields at full working speed, the Full Upgrade Kit with RAPID valves is the usual choice: 5 ms valves and up to 20 km/h. If your sprayer already has ISOBUS individual-nozzle control (for example RAVEN), the Easy Kit adds the FALCON cameras and keeps your valves, typically at 12–15 km/h. We confirm the right kit from your boom width, crops and valve system.
Ask for the demo on your own field, at your normal speed and in your usual conditions. Mark a strip before the pass, then check that the weeds were hit and the crop and bare soil between them stayed dry – water-sensitive paper makes this easy to see. Count any missed weeds, compare the liquid used with a broadcast pass, and look at the GeoJSON weed map WeedEye records during the run.
An AI weed sprayer uses cameras on the boom and on-board artificial intelligence to recognise weeds in real time and open only the nozzles above them. WeedEye turns existing boom sprayers into AI weed sprayers with a retrofit kit – no drones, maps or internet connection needed.
Yes, by a wide margin. The WeedEye system works on your field sprayer, so it keeps the full boom width and working speed – a 24 m boom at 12 km/h covers roughly 20 ha per hour even with turns – while spray drones carry only 30–50 litres and must stop often for refills and battery changes. Because spot spraying uses far less liquid, one tank also lasts longer, so daily output can be higher than with the same sprayer spraying broadcast.
